First Kiss

She entangled her arms around his neck, She saw nothing but pure love in his eyes, he was there waiting to be hers forever. She had dreamed of this moment over and over again. How many sleepless nights she had spent thinking and planning their future. Now that fairy tale moment was actually here. She did not give it a second thought; she reached out for his face and planted a big kiss. He smiled; he had received his First Kiss. Her mind was racing; she did not want that moment to end. She felt like she could hold him forever and never let him go.

A few years later

Hey, go home, she’ll be worried. Illa da, Don't feel like going home, she asks too many questions and it always ends in a fight. I'll go late; she will be all sleepy and will leave me alone. He and she had not talked to each other for two years now. They both lived in the same house, shared the same bed, ate the same food, but they had grown apart all these years. They fought all the time, even on the most trivial issues. He did not have the same pure love in his eyes and she did not seem like an angel anymore. He was just waiting for a time when he could shift to another city. She felt he was drifting away day by day. She tried to get closer to him by wanting to know about his daily happenings and his friends. The more she asked him, the more irritated he got. Their chemistry mismatched so much. He wasn't sure what made her from the loving girl who couldn't stop kissing him to this boring, nagging lady. She wondered what changed the cute young boy to this insensitive monster.

A few more years later

He was in another city now. Initially, everything was just perfect. No more questions, No nagging and finally peace of mind. Only after a few days did he realize what had hit him. He had never expected this to happen. He always assumed she was the cause of all his problems and once he got away from her, everything would be fine. Now life was telling him otherwise. The feeling of loneliness was killing him inside. He had good friends off course but they couldn't love him the way she did. He missed her badly. He would call her in the middle of the night just to tell her how much he loves her. She was happy in a way that he had realized how much she loved him and he could reciprocate it. The hectic schedule was keeping him busy through the day but the nights were hard. He did not feel loved anymore. He badly wanted to be with her. After all, she was his mother.

She saw him, they both were in the same class and he seemed a cut above the rest of the crowd. He was young, dynamic and was a good talker. She started talking to him and gradually they started liking each other. She was not the kind who believed in made for each other concept, but in this case she was glad to make an exception. Love was in the air. She proposed, he said yes! She didn't know why but she always felt he wouldn't say yes at first. Now that he had said it and saved her a whole lot of trouble, she felt relieved. She had this irresistible urge to kiss him.
