The Perfect love story ....

I was also one of those billion people who believed in ' the perfect girl for you ' concept ... not right now... i'l tell u why...

even though there is a huge pool of possible ' perfect ones ' ... ur choice usually is limited by the college you go to, and that too only ur batchmates.. so within a week's time of joining the college your possible list of 'perfect ones' comes down from infinity to fifty .. and within the next week it will come down to ten .. owing to the already committed gals , the ones who dont come out of their room etc etc.. so there you go ... you got to choose your crush from this ten .. i am not just saying this ... you need to have a crush ( or else u r branded as ' something seriously wrong ' ) .. and there begins ur love story ...

There are actually 4 things before u can officially be a gal's friend ...she needs to accept ur friend request on orkut ... needs to reply to ur scraps....must talk to you in class.... must give you her phone number..... After this comes the sms phase of gud ni8 , hii.. wat doing , going to class? , studied kya ...( u kno better ) .. Then comes a point where she uses dear , sweetheart .... u get all hyped up ... buy cold drinks and pastry for ur friends, only to realize 3 days later that she uses it with everyone ( still figuring out why gals do this to mess up with ur minds ) ... now people start asking questions...you say ' just friends ' ... only to go to your room and imagine things that dont really exist .. you convince yourself that you are in love and so is she ... then the same old story.. propose .. reject.. just friends... beard..beer... back to normal....


God has a sick way of doing things .This doesnt end here ....the flame is rekindled by her again by the little things that she seems to do "unwittingly ".Girls have this on-off crush thing ,it turns up every now and then .. when it is turned ' ON' you need to be there for her in every possible way and wen turned 'OFF ' you need to leave her alone (see what i mean by god's sick way ). I thought googletalk was the best thing that happened to me in college ... no recharge,talk for as long as you want. But now trust me, If there was no gtalk, there would be a lot less problems in college today . The sound of the ping can be the most melodic and most annoying sound in the world ( u kno y ) ....coming to our love story .... after about three months nothing exactly happens. no butterflies in your stomach. no wings sprouting on shoulders. no thrills and no discoveries. you go through regular motions of life. nothing at all changes in your respective worlds because of each other. At this point it all comes down to the one hour of conversation you have at the end of the day which becomes a mere reporting of activities and a preview of what you are doing the next day .. then by default u say an :ilu :gn ... you get tired of all this .


Suddenly you get a ' lets stop all this ' from the girl .. whoa .. you are not exactly shocked.. at the back of your mind.. u had wanted to tell this to her.. now that she has spared you the effort.. u take it well ( all that is shown is films is pure crap ) ... then after a week the same voice, the same face , the same smile which once made ur heart beat faster seem repugnant to you ... then you realize how big a mistake it was to waste your time behind her and she was ' not worth all this effort ' . Things don't seem all that bad. you can still watch romantic movies and enjoy them ,notice how even minute things such as a sparrow on your window can put a smile to your face .. you now realize how ignorant you had been to these little pleasures of life by the multitude of one thing called love...

and this is how my faith in the 'perfect one concept' got eroded ... its all a gimmick by the card companies to sell more of their "love you" cards .... love is overrated
