'Stranger' than fiction

Mom, I ate hot corn in rain today . Dad , i got only a seven pointer this time . Bro, dei i had kingfisher today , it was awesome , you try it once . Machan , We both went to a movie today da and i didn't even notice who the actress was , kept looking at her all the time . Hey we are boozing today , its his birthday na . Most of the conversations you have with the people who know or people who are close to you is often restricted to subjects similar to this . Ever imagined why ?

Well , I did and this is what i came up with . When you want to confess something to your close ones ,there are a lot of restrictions , aren't there. You need to see the people who you say all these things to , maybe the same day, maybe the next day or maybe a week after you said it to them, but eventually you have to see them , and that's where the problem comes in . Their eyes say it all...how could you do that?...how could you even live with such a thought in your mind !? , so the next time you want to say something , you think twice before doing that ,and this is where the alcohol and cigarette companies make all their money from . They all got a lot of taglines , but the most common one should have been letting people blurt out their feelings even if they don't want to !!

At this point a stranger , who you have not seen, who is just a mutual friend and lives two thousand kilometers away from you , who you don't know a thing about, who you are not too excited about, walks into your life and things just click ( even better if that stranger is a girl ) . You both connect immediately and the chemistry is established , frequencies match and you are all set to share everything with her. You don't realize it, but u do . All those things that you kept inside yourself , about what you want to be in ten years , about how your CAT preparation is losing momentum , about how badly you miss a girl even though your brain screams "NO" , about how you like the way your mom looks when she is busy cooking , about how you hate it when dumb people just shoot their mouth off ,about how even the slightest of actions could just 'make your day' , about how many children you would like to have, about how good it feels to taste fish curry after six months of spiceless food, about how your football match went .... you just say it all out , loud and clear without beating around the bush , unlike with the people you know closely . The insecurity you get after saying personal things to people is not there . There is no sense of feeling vulnerable . You just feel so good about yourself. The thing with life is that even if your life is fucked up , letting someone know that your life is fucked up makes you feel a lot better .

If you had said to me about a week back that such things could happen in real life , I would have had a good laugh at your ignorance .Now that it's really happening to me , it seems believable . absolutely believable .
